Any kind of activity, whether outdoors or indoors, strengthens the body and slows down the effects of ageing. However, athletes and sports enthusiasts have an increased risk of damaging their joints, muscles, tendons and posture. With age overuse injuries become more frequent, mostly due to the diminished ability of aging body systems to adapt to high levels of loading.

​The focus of my work is orthopedic surgery and manual therapy of soft tissue. I take my time for a precise diagnosis and to understand the patient's needs, in order to be able to make the right decision between surgical repair or non-surgical treatment. Stabilization, mobilisation and balancing are the key elements in my daily work in the clinic or office.

Shockwave Therapy

Shockwave therapy provides an efficient treatment in painful tendons of the shoulder, the elbow and the achilles tendon. Even painful muscle areas can be reached with myofascial shockwave therapy, which improves the circulation and resynthesis within soft tissues.
